In cooperation with our company FLUID UTVA AD Pančevo, we produced our new type of semi-trailer tank for transport of LPG.

Semi-trailer CTP-48-23 is a member of new self-supporting semi-trailers family. This family of products is a new generation of semi-trailers for transport of liquefied petroleum gas and mixtures produced by company FLUID.

Semi-trailers from family CTP-43/56-23 are design for test pressure 23 bar according to ADR and so they can transport almost the entire range of LPG mixtures. These products are without sun shield. The volume of the vessel can be from 43000 l to 56000 l.

Semi-trailer CTP-48-23 has a volume of the vessel 48000 l. The vessel is round cross-section. The material for shell and ends is steel for pressure purposes. The vessel is calculated according to ADR 2009 and European norm. The vessel is equipped with sliding plate which is connected to the vessel across cross members. The inspection hole is located on the rear end. The instruments (manometer, thermometer, and level gauge) are located in the small bottom in inspection hole. On the top of vessel are installed safety valves.  Vessel has installed aluminium surge plates that make construction more rigid and reduce dynamic loads due to motion of fluid.

Box for equipment is on the backside. Discharge installation on CTP-48-23 allows direct loading and gravity unloading. Bottom valves with pneumatic actuators and connected through ball valves with ACME connectors are installed for liquid and gas phase. To control the loading two fixed level indicators for butane and propane are also installed in equipment box.

Semi-trailer has installed three SAF axles. Other options would be the installation of BPW or Daimler Chrysler axles or self supporting rear axle and lifting first axle. The tanks have also the supporting legs. Between legs and boogie is mounted spare wheel. The vehicle is equipped with two fire extinguishers, mudguards, two lifting elements, side protection, outline marker lights on rear end, tool box, protection against movement and other equipment according to the ADR requirements.
